SalentoAutonoleggio.it uses data collected through its website responsibily.  Data will be used only to contact us according to your requests or your bookings. SalentoAutonoleggio.it will not sell or share your personal informations with third parties.

Salento autonoleggio.it doesn’t have picking up stations or cars fleets in the selected locations. If you can’t pick up your car, an our employee will take car where you have decided to pick it up ( station, airport, hotel or tourist place).SalentoAutonoleggio.it is very flexible and will find the best solution for its customers needs.

What documents do I have to show when I take my car?

R:

When you take your car you have to show Salento Autonoleggio voucher with driving license, passport or identity card and credit card . If you decide to pay by cash, you have to pay the whole amount when you return your car, including any deposit amount.

When does car rental start?

R:

Our strength is flexibility…Car rental is based on a 24-hour time and starts when you pick up your car. It is indicated on your rental agreement. Other way if  delay doesn’t overcome  60 minutes , you don’t have to pay any penalty.

If I don’t inform the charterer according to schedule, what does it happen?

R:

If the car isn’t returned in time with a delay of 60 minutes, a rental day will be charged but customer have to inform charterer by phone.

How much does the security deposit cost?

R:

when I rent a car I must pay a security deposit of 300 € to cover some optional costs, the petrol cost ( according to the fill up option) and  the CDW franchise. This normally happens with blockage of a corresponding amount on the credit card that will be again available when the car will be returned as it was before. For rents without credit card, if the security deposit is arranged, it will be given by customers by cash and re-given at the same way when you return your car, except charges for damages caused by him.

How can I release the security deposit?

R:

The deposit can be done by cash or by credit card, it has to be an international credit card registered in the driver’s name, as the voucher shows.

Will the car be from the automaker and on the exact model I booked?

R:

Salentoautonoleggio.it can ensure a certain category of car and not a specific model. They are different cars from different automakers that  are part of the same category  and are the same features, as defined when you book.

How is my car rental ensured?

R:

Every car rental provides a liability insurance with a minimum coverage, its amount depends on  legislation. All car rental include car theft and fire, requiring a deductible in case of damage or theft. Roadside and medical assistance, car replacement are included without no extra cost.

Can I deliver and retrieve the car in a certain place?

R:

Salentoautonoleggio.it is very flexible and it will be able to find the closest solution to its customers’ needs, so you can require the car  deliver and picking when you book (with an additional cost) in every Salento place. Some examples can be Brindisi airport (Papola Casale Airport),  railway stations of Brindisi and Lecce and neighboring cities, hotels, camping, tourist locations….

Can friends or relatives drive my hire car?

R:

Additional drivers must be registered in the rental agreement. Additional drivers have to be present at the moment of picking car and provide valid driver’s license, passport or identity card.

The most car rental companies require the payment of  an additional daily fee.

is there a minimum age for rental car?

R:

The minimum required age is 20 with the minimum requirement of consecution of license for a year.

Can I drive in other countries by crossing borders?

R:

only with the consent of the hirer

Some examples of charge payable by customer.

R:

  • A. non-fill up/ fill up cost 15

  • Dirty stains that require interior or exterior washing  caused by improper use will have a variable cost as much as 80€.

  • Non-respect of the smoking ban involves sanitization of interior to customer’s total expense with a charge of 60€.

  • Delay in delivery schedules/ redelivery with more than 15 minutes delay and not communicated with a notice of 45 minutes at least, may  cause a sanction that ranges from a minimum of 10 to a maximum of 50 €.

  • Damages to cars of any kind or amount will be reimbursed in full ( excluding any damage covered by insurance policies).
