Responsibilities for rented vehicle

Salento car rental considers tenant is responsible of returning vehicle in the same conditions  it was when it was taken, except for normal wear and tear.

Unless it is forbidden by the law, tenant will be liable of every damage, including supervening uselessness, if the vehicle is damaged in an accident, stolen or subject to vandalism. This  is not dependent from tenant’s fault.

Tenant may be also required to pay damages up to total the vehicle total cost, in case of total destruction or loss.

You have to ensure any vehicle damage is properly registered before leaving the rental agency.
